Implementing Changes

Good day to you!

TEDxUniSA.com is going to go through a lot of fun and exciting changes. I’ve ideated a lot of ways on how to introduce these things, but I’ve finally concluded on a plan – and I’d like to share it to you.

Design

Firstly, the biggest change you’ll notice is the design itself. I’ve changed the way you navigate the website, and the way you experience it as well. One of the most noticeable adjustments here is the theme and the layout, as you’ll see in an upcoming post.

Below is a list of some of the changes we’ve done related to design.

  1. The theme is now Dark to match this year’s theme!
  2. Changed where you get information from. There is less reliance on the homepage for information, and it encourages you to look through the other pages.

Here’s a sneak peek what we’re aiming for!

Content Delivery

We introduced a News section to the site, which should now include all our posts and cool news! We used to have all the news posted on the homepage, but now it should be located in the new News section!

Don’t worry though, we’ll still add some content on the homepage, but you’ll have all the full-on details on News if you’d like to have a read through. You’ll see on the image above that there’s a small notice to let you know some of the important things you need to know.
